Welcome to RAAS Fact Checking Myanmar academic program.
Upon completion of module 1: Weighing the Evidence in Hypertension, participants will be able to:
- Explain the importance of BP lowering, including different ways of measuring BP, appropriate targets, and evidence for ACEi and ARBs
- Differentiate ACEi within their class and ARBs within their class based on pharmacokinetic differences and clinical trial evidence
- Evaluate the evidence for ACEi and ARBs in reducing all-cause mortality and CV events in patients with hypertension
- Explain the role of combination therapy for uncontrolled hypertension
